5 Ways to Clean the Artificial Flowering Plants
Using artificial azaleas at home, in villa or apartment is getting more popular nowadays. People love it because they don’t fade or wither. There is also less to worry about with the maintenance – no watering, cultivating, fertilizing, or even pruning is needed.
In few months time, these artificial flowering plants will gather some layer of dusts, bulk of cobwebs and greases especially if they are placed near the roads or near the busy streets. You’ll be seeing vast of dirt covering the whole part of the plant. It is also too risky and dangerous for those who have asthma and allergies if they can breathe it. 1.) Use a dry paint brush for dusting and cleaning

2.) Use water and soft cloth

Get a big paper bag and a cup of salt. Cautiously put the artificial azaleas inside and close it. Then, shake it for a while. The salt will knock out all the dusts and cobwebs. After a few minutes, you have a fresh-looking plant again.
4.) Use some disinfectant like Lysol or Windex
In the next proceeding months, you will be doing rigorous cleaning. Try to dust the artificial flowering plants with a feather duster. Spray the surface cleaner to your artificial azaleas or artificial geraniums. And put them in a sunny area for a shiny look. (You’ll be amazed of the result).
5.) Soak the artificial flowering plants in bath tub with soapy water or in a big basin.
Tenderly bathe the artificial azaleas in soapy water while wiping the leaves or the blossoms so that it will easily get dry. Just be cautious of the leaf cluster not to fall or come off of the plants albeit it’s easy to put back (not to waste time and effort).
